POLAROIDS
A collection of Polaroid photographs made during walks and travels over the past seven years, these images function as visual field notes. The immediacy of the medium lends itself to varying sensitivity to light, color, and temperature, with shifts in the film’s chemistry that is embedded in the image itself.
For me, embracing the unpredictability of the instant snapshot allows for a quicker, more intuitive way of photographing, one that feels both precious and anti-precious. As ephemeral objects, they are records of deliberate and fleeting circumstances.
